The case of a Massillon man accused of abduction and robbery has been handed over to the Ashland County Grand Jury to consider indictment. RichlandSource.com reports, Brett Poindexter is said to have entered the victim’s vehicle in Wooster and told the man to drive him to Ashland. Poindexter pulled out a knife and demanded he go to an ATM and withdraw money. Poindexter was later arrested at a gas station in Haysville. The victim, Stacy Martin, testified that he asked the gas station clerk to phone 911 while at the ATM. The next hearing in the matter will be on September 18th. The incident took place just before 4 am last Wednesday, August 8th.
