Here is a great way to kick off the Holiday Season in November . . . donate your hair to a child. Studio 19 Salon & Spa and Richland Carrousel Park have partnered to help children who have lost their hair due to an illness. On November 2, The Carrousel will be open from 11am to 8 pm. First Friday begins at 4 pm with 5 rides for $2 (tickets must be used that night) and a great selection of food for a lite supper for a nominal fee. The children will be pleased with our "kid-friendly menu" prepared by Chef Ginny. At 5:30 pm, professional hair dressers from Studio 19 Salon & Spa will begin cutting hair for Wigs for Kids. It takes 20-30 ponytails (12"-14") to make a wig for a child. Once the wig is made, it is donated to a child. If you donate your hair, we will provide you with a FREE lite supper and FREE rides. If your hair isn't long enough, come join us for the fun and to put a check in our donation jar for Wigs for Kids. It is tax deductible.
