The city of Mansfield hopes to tear down the former YMCA building at 455 Park Avenue West by the end of this year. Councilman Cliff Mears says, the city has moved $500,000 from the PRIDE Tax fund into the demolition fund, to help with the cost of the YMCA. The money will also assist in the demolition of a church at 168 Buckingham St. and a property at 465 South Diamond.
