The Madison Township Department recently spent time going door to door installing new smoke alarms. RichlandSource.com reports, 20 volunteers installed the smoke alarms last Friday during the United Way of Richland County Day of Caring. Madison Township fire Chief Ronald Luttrell said “The day of caring is a day to give back and make Richland County a better place. In total, 40 smoke detectors were installed in 23 residences in Madison Township.
