Richland County EMA Awarded Homeland Security Grant

The Richland County Emergency Management Agency has been awarded nearly $29,000 from the department of Homeland Security.  The Grant money will be used for the purchase of suits for Regional Hazardous Materials Team. The suits each have a shelf life of 10 to 15 years. The Regional Hazardous Materials Team is made up of members of various fire departments in Richland and Ashland Counties.
