Ontario Road Repair tax on November Ballot

Ontario City Council voted this week to put a road repair tax on the November ballot. RichlandSource.com reports the.25% tax could generate between $500,000 to $600,000 per year for street resurfacing. It cost nearly $2 million to repave Lexington-Springmill road and 4th street alone, which are the roads with the most businesses in town. The tax, which would go into effect January 1st, 2019, would then be used on residential streets only.
