Absentee and Early Voting for the August 7th Special Election is going on right now at the Richland County Board of Elections until Monday, August 6th at 2 pm. The polls open at 6:30 A.M. on August 7th and close at 7:30 P.M. Remember that this Special Congressional General Election is only for voters who reside within the 12th Congressional District. This Special Congressional General Election is to choose the replacement for the unexpired term of the seat left vacant upon the resignation of Congressman Pat Tiberi. This Election will just fill the position until the full term Congressman is elected in November of this year.
