Ontario Updates Legislation on Animal Control

The city of Ontario has updated its legislation on animal control. Council unanimously approved to include cats, among the many animals that can’t run loose inside the city limits. RichlandSource.com reports, the original ordinance stated that horses, sheep, chickens and other animals could not run loose, but later added dogs and now cats to that list. Cats were added to the ordinance, after one member of council reported 11 cats running free in his neighborhood.
