City of Ashland Projected Deficit by End of 2019

The city of Ashland could be in the red by just under $2 million by the end of next year.  RichlandSource.com reports, the city’s projected fund shows a deficit of $1.7 million by the end of 2019. Mayor Matt Miller said, city leaders will not allow expenses to exceed revenue. The city’s next budget meeting is set for next Tuesday, July 17th during the regular City Council meeting.
