Proposed Plan for Johnny Appleseed Amphitheater by October

A group of about 25 people gathered for a Town Hall meeting Wednesday to discuss the future of the former Johnny Appleseed Amphitheater in Mifflin.  The outdoor venue hasn’t been used since 2015 and now is owned by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District.  RichlandSource.com reports, the Muskingum Watershed District has hired a consulting firm to research and come up with a plan for the venue. The meeting took ideas which ranged from operas to concerts to weddings. The consulting group will propose a plan and present it to the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District by October 31st.
