Back in March, Ontario City Council discussed a possible Ontario pot hole tax to help pay for repaving of the city streets. The thought is a .25% tax, which could generate between $500,000 to $600,000 per year for street resurfacing. RichlandSource.com reports, Ontario City Council would have to pass the legislation by early August to get it on the fall ballot for voters to cast their vote in November. Ontario City Council’s next meeting won’t be until July 18th.
