Local churches in Ashland have donated $1,000 to Ashland County Job and Family Services. RichlandSource.com reports, pastor Jon Hall of the Grace Brethren Church presented the check to Ashland County Job and Family Services Director Peter Stefaniuk. The money will go toward children in the care of the county. Stefaniuk says 147 kids are in the custody of the county and his office handles about 3,500 child cases each year.
