The Ashland Samaritan Foundation has donated just under $27,000 in honor of its volunteers. RichlandSource.com reports, the money was donated to the University Hospital Samaritan Medical Center. The Foundation donated $2 per hour for each hour that was volunteered. In 2017, University Hospital Samaritan volunteers spent more than 13,285 hours volunteering.
