A resident of Ontario has been given a key to the city. RichlandSource.com reports, Dan Henige, who was an Ontario civil service commissioner when it became a village back in 1958, was honored recently by current Ontario mayor Randy Hutchinson. Hutchinson said the civil service commission had a lot to do with Ontario go from a village to a city. Henige spent 12 years as a chairman and June 7th will now be known as “Dan Henige Day”.
