Mansfield City Council has approved the purchase of a new ambulance for the Mansfield Fire department. Councilman Cliff Mears says that folks may be shocked to hear the cost of a new ambulance, which will see a price tag of $177,264. Mears says they knew this was coming and it was in the budget to replace the old ambulance, which will now go into the role of a back -up.
