The musical Mulan, Jr., based on the classic Walt Disney animated film, will open at the Mansfield Playhouse on June 8 and run until June 17. The play retells an ancient Chinese legend with actual historical roots about a young woman who disguises herself as a man in order to take her ill father's place in the army. Performances of the play will take place June 8, 9, 15, and 16 at 7 pm. There will also be a matinee performance on Sunday June 17 at 2:30 pm.
