Ashland mayor Matt Miller says one of his priorities when he took over as mayor was to improve Brookside Park. The city will hold a ribbon cutting this Saturday, June 2nd at noon to unveil the renovated main pond and launch a new day at Brookside Park. Miller says the pond had been a giant mud hole for the last couple of years, has been filled and beautiful limestone added around it. The hope is to have the tennis courts resurfaced by sometime by August.
