Sax Man No Longer on the Streets of Cleveland

I was surprised to hear that a main stay of Cleveland culture died this week.  I can't recall going to a baseball game, since Jacob's Filed opened, that Maurice wasn't there. I interviewed him on several occasions, and he played his saxaphone  for me on the radio.  The Sax Man passed away on Monday, April 16th, 2018.

It was his dedication to playing music on the street of Cleveland around the ball park, that caused Cleveland City Council to pass an ordinance, allowing musicians to entertain those passing by, without a vendors license.  Maurice was the subject of a documentary in 2014.  I have included the Trailer (below).
