Lexington Boys Tennis Headed to State

The Lexington boy’s tennis team is headed to the State Tournament this weekend. The Minutemen had to move from outside to indoors, due to rain, but knocked off a good Ottawa Hills team to advance to state for the first time since 2015. Ron Shaub is in his 25th year as coach at Lexington said his kids really stepped up and senior Luke Webster clinched the match for Lexington. The Minutemen will face Cincinnati Indian Hills on Sunday morning and with a win would go on to play for the Division II State Title. The match will be at Reynoldsburg High School.  Lex will send 3 players to the Individual State Tournament in Mason, OH on Friday.
