Bids for Ashland’s Street Resurfacing Lower than Expected

The city of Ashland will be able to pave a few more streets this summer, thanks to bids coming in a little lower than expected.  RichlandSource.com reports, Ashland’s summer street resurfacing project was scheduled to cover 29 streets at the cost of about $1.7 million. However, the low bid came in from Sarver Paving of Ashland at $1.3 million, which will allow the city to pave about 3 more streets. The work should be done by sometime in September.
