Ashland to Create Walking Path Downtown

Ashland officials have given the thumbs up to create a walking path downtown along Town Creek. RichlandSource.com reports, Ashland mayor Matt Miller is calling it the Center Run project and work will begin in the near future. The project idea first came from former Ashland mayor Bill Strine back in 2006.  The 12 foot wide path will run from Claremont Avenue to Luther Street and will have benches along the way. The cost of the project is $73,000 and will come out of the Capital Improvement part of the general fund.
