Ashland University Men's Track & Field Ranked 10th

For the second time this outdoor season, Ashland University's men's track and field team is at No. 10 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings.

The latest rankings, released on Tuesday (April 24) afternoon, saw the Eagle men move up two spots from last week. Ashland's men have nine efforts which would qualify for 2018 NCAA Division II nationals, May 24-26 in Charlotte, N.C., including junior Myles Pringle, No. 1 in the country in the 400-meter dash (45.57 seconds), and sophomore Alex Hill, No. 3 in the nation in the hammer throw (64.35 meters/211-feet-1).

Since the start of the 2010 outdoor season, Ashland's men have been in the USTFCCCA Top 10 on 62 occasions.

Ashland's men and women will play host to the ninth Ashland Alumni Open on Friday (April 27) and Saturday (April 28) at the Dwight Schar Athletic Complex.
