Mansfield Looking to Replace North Lake Park Bridge

Mansfield city council has begun talks to replace the North Lake Park Bridge, which would cost about $1.1 million. Councilman Cliff Mears told WMAN News, the city hopes to secure a grant from ODOT, which would cover about 95% of the cost. Mansfield would have to come up with 5%, which is about $55,000. ODOT inspected the bridge and rated it a 4, with 10 being a new bridge and 1 being a closed bridge. The North Lake Park Bridge is over 100 years old.
