Richland County Officials Learn about Driverless Vehicles

Mansfield mayor Tim Theaker, along with city engineer Bob Bianchi and a handful of other Richland County officials, made a trip 2 weeks ago to Maryland to learn about driverless vehicles.  RichlandSource.com reports the Richland County officials were impressed by the technology, but don’t feel it will be coming to town in the near future.  Theaker feels the driverless vehicles will be well known in 10 years and wants Mansfield to be ready when that time possibly comes. The driverless vehicles can go around 40 miles per charge.
