The 86th running of the Mansfield Mehock Relays will take place on Saturday at Mehock Field. The track and field event started back in 1927 under Harry Mehock and has been going on nearly every year since. The only years it did not take place were the 4 years during World War II and a spring snow storm in 1982.
Athletes from the Mansfield area, along with surrounding states and even Canada, have made the trip to compete in one of the biggest track and field events in the Midwest. Running and field events get under way at 10 am. The forecast is calling for rain and temps near 70.
