Friday, April 13th, will be a busy day at the Richland Mall in Ontario. First a ribbon cutting at 9:00 am for Bath and Body Works, who is moving to a new location inside the mall and a completely redesigned store. After the Bath and Body works ribbon cutting, JCPenney will mark their 100th anniversary of their Mansfield location at 9:30 a.m. Founder James Cash Penney opened his first store right here in Mansfield, Ohio on April 13th, 1918 on West 3rd street. The Mansfield store was one of 20 stores across the country that opened in the spring of 1918. JCPenney has approximately 870 stores in the US and Puerto Rico, which includes 35 stores here in Ohio.
