Shelby Gym Teacher Resigns After Removing Students from Classroom

A Shelby elementary teacher has resigned following a 2nd incident with a student in just over a year. RichlandSource.com reports that Gym teacher Bob DeLauder will officially resigned on May 25th, after DeLauder had contact with a student to remove them from his classroom. The other incident took place last February, where video according to RichlandSource.com, apparently shows two children being disciplined in gym class and one sliding across the floor on his backside.  Bob DeLauder is currently on paid leave until 25th.
