Basketball Hall of Famer Jerry Lucas to Speak in Mansfield
Basketball Hall of Famer Jerry Lucas will make a visit to Mansfield later this week to speak at the OSU Mansfield campus. Lucas, who helped lead OSU to its only National Championship in 1960, is an Ohio State graduate from the Fisher College of Business. After his basketball career, Lucas dedicated himself to the study of memory, sharing his expertise through various platforms to aid others in enhancing memory and learning approaches for all ages. Lucas has become known as Dr. Memory, he has authored and co-authored many books, selling over 3 million copies. Jerry, named one of the 50 greatest basketball players of all time, took his basketball teams to championships in high school, college, the NBA and the Olympics. Jerry Lucas will speak Thursday April 12th, from 6-7pm inside Eisenhower Hall. The event is free and open to the public Lucas will answer questions and sign autographs as time permits.
