Mansfield To Receive More Money From Housing and Urban Development
The city of Mansfield is set to receive more money than first thought from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for 2018. Councilman Cliff Mears told WMAN, the Community Development Block Grant Fund, will see an increase of about 10% and will go from $770,000 to 840,000, while Home Application, for people to fix up their homes, will see a 19% rise from $200,000 to $238,000. Mears encourages home owners in need of repairs to apply. There are income guidelines for whole and partial home repairs, but additional money will be available.
