Ashland School District Has School Resource Officer

The Ashland school district for the first time in 5 years has a school resource officer walking the halls.  Ashland police officer Jeremy Jarvis started last Monday and will cover a total of 5 Ashland City School buildings and Ashland County Community Academy.

RichlandSource.com reports, Ashland police Chief David Marcelli said once the city’s safety services levy passed 2 years ago, the plan was to have a resource officer assigned to the schools by the fall of 2018.
