A former marine and retired disabled veteran from the Fredericktown area, is headed to Washington D.C, thanks to the Honor Flight trip. RichlandSource.com reports Albert Beyer Jr, who served in Vietnam and was in the Marine Corp from 1968 through 1978, will get to visit our nation’s capital free of charge on April 7th. The Honor Flight trip is a non - profit organization that takes US military veterans to visit the memorials in Washington D.C. Beyer is a part of the Bellville American Legion and four times each year serves meals to the homeless in the area.
