Construction of Mansfield YMCA Splash Pad Underway

The Mansfield YMCA late last week broke ground on construction of a Splash Pad that is scheduled to be open in May. The money for the splash pad was raised last year, as the YMCA celebrated its 150th year. The YMCA was able to get donations of just over $1.3 million to be able to construct the splash pad and other projects. RichlandSource.com reports, the hope is to have the Splash pad open by Memorial Day weekend.
