The Ashland School board approved a 5 year contract extension Monday for Superintendent Doug Marrah. The contract will run through July of 2023 and will pay Marrah $150,000 per year, along with a chance of incentives up to just over 3%. RichlandSource.com reports that Marrah’s original contract wasn’t set to expire until 2019, but he has a clause in his contract that if the board found his performance satisfactory in 2017, then it could be renewed in 2018.
