Bellville Police Confiscate Large Amount of Drugs in Traffic Stop

A traffic stop late last week in Bellville has led to large amount of drugs, money and a fire arm being confiscated by authorities.  Bellville police pulled over a vehicle on Route 97 close to I-71 and found heroin, what’s believed to be black tar heroin, crystal meth and more than $11,000 in cash.  47 year old Robert Wheeler and 24 year old Amanda Higgs, both of Mt. Vernon were charged with drug trafficking and taken to the Richland County Jail.
