Shelby Police Officers Back to Work After Fatal Shooting

The two Shelby police officers that were involved in the shooting near Tiro in late February are back on active duty.  RichlandSource.com reports Shelby police chief Lane Combs said that it is department policy to place officers on leave when their weapon is discharged. The fatal shooting of 27 year Aaron Fike, took place in Crawford County on Feb. 26th.  The incident is still under investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
