Area Schools Take Part in Walk Out Calling for Stricter Gun Laws

Several schools, around the area and across the country, took part in a 17 minute walk out, which calls for stricter gun laws, after 17 were killed at a school in Parkland, Florida. RichlandSource.com reports St. Peter’s school took part in a walk out and prayer service, while about 100 Ashland students came together and read the names of those who lost their lives in the tragic shooting at the Florida High School. Mansfield Senior staff encouraged kids to take a different approach and stay inside. The school gave out free orange t-shirts that said “ Hear Something? See Something? SAY SOMETHING! Make Mansfield Senior safe for all.
