Galion Schools Parts Ways with Teacher Following Incident

Galion Schools have parted ways with a substitute teacher following an incident at the school last Friday. RichlandSource.com reports that video showed the teacher forcibly moved a student by grabbing them just above the elbow. Principal Alex Sharick told the substitute teacher to collect her things and leave the premises after reviewing the tape. Galion Superintendent Jim Grubbs said he approved of the way the incident and the teacher will not be returning to the Galion School District.
