The Richland County Emergency Management Agency has been awarded $28,782 from the department of Homeland Security. The Special Project Grant money will be used exclusively for the purchase of Level A and B entry suits for Regional Hazardous Materials Team. The suits each have a various shelf life and the current ones are in need of replacement. The Regional Hazardous Materials Team is made up of members of various fire departments in Richland and Ashland Counties.
