Suspicious Package Caused Concern Thursday Near Lucas

A package caused some concern on Thursday near Lucas, when it was left by a fence at a Columbia Gas Transmission Station on Ohio 39.  Major Joe Masi of the Richland County Sheriff Office told RichlandSource.com that no one was in harm’s way or in jeopardy and that the suspicious package was out of place out of place.  The Ashland County Bomb squad was called in and found nothing to be inside the package.
