A longtime name in the food industry in Mansfield is calling it a career, as Ed Pickens has announced he will retire next month. Pickens, who owns Ed Pickens Catering, has been in the food business for over 45 years. Pickens told RichlandSource.com that he will be turning 70 years old and felt the time was right. Pickens is not sure if another catering business will take over his location on main street or possibly a restaurant, but is looking into that now. Pickens is set to retire at the end of March.
