Commissioner Asks Ontario 2nd Time To Contribute To RCT

Richland County Commissioner Tony Vero has asked the city of Ontario for a 2nd time to contribute money to Richland County Transit.  RichlandSource.com reports  Vero said " I come in peace and harmony to ask that city council reconsider donation to RCT. Vero gave council ridership data for Ontario, but no action was taken during Wednesday's meeting.  Vero asked the city of Ontario for $10,000 last fall and stated the other cities including Mansfield and Shelby contribute yearly to RCT.
