Shelby Road and Sidewalk Income Tax Levy on May Ballot

Shelby City Council says they will put a 0.2 percent income tax levy on the May 8th ballot. The money will go towards road and sidewalk repair in the city.  Shelby Project Coordinator Joe Gies told RichlandSource.com that this is a continuation of the current income tax levy and would not cost the voters any more money than they are paying now. This money will be used for residential areas in Shelby.
