Shelby Band Director Looking at up to 11 years Behind Bars

Shelby band director Benjamin Hyun, who was arrested on a rape charge last fall, could be looking at up to 11 years behind bars if convicted.  RichlandSource.com reports the 11 years is the maximum sentence and Hyun would then have to register as a sex offender every 90 days for the rest of his life.  The incident took place during the early morning hours of November 21st in Ontario. Hyun is currently on paid leave from Shelby.
