Farm Land Around Lahm Airport Open for Bids

Mansfield City Council says they will open up bids to land on and around Lahm Airport for farmers to farm. Councilman Cliff Mears says that the 512 acres will bring in about $130 per acre, which would result in $55,000to $60,000 in revenue that will go toward the operation of the airport. The 512 acres will be done in a 5 year contract that will go to one farmer with the highest bid.  The city will open bids in a couple of weeks.
