Over 100 Scholarships Available Through NC State College Foundation

More than 100 scholarships will be awarded by the North Central State College Foundation for the 2018-2019 school year.  The application for scholarships will be available Friday, February 2 through Wednesday, February 28, 2018, on the college website.

New and current students, as well as full-time and part-time students, are encouraged to apply.  Some scholarships are given based on merit or financial need, while others are awarded to students in a particular geographic region or with a specific demographic characteristic.

 Last year, over $100,000 was awarded in scholarships, made possible by the generous donations to the North Central State College Foundation.  The Foundation is grateful for the selflessness of our supporters without whose assistance these scholarships would not be possible.

Chris Copper, the College Foundation’s executive director, says she is thankful for all of the support and contributions given to the scholarship fund.  “The students benefit significantly from the scholarship.  The impact goes far beyond the campus and into the community as those who graduate from North Central State College head off into the workforce as well rounded employees.”

Students can apply at www.ncstatecollege.edu/scholarships. Those awarded a scholarship will be notified by mid-April.
