40th Anniversary of 1978 Blizzard

Friday marks the 40th anniversary of the 1978 blizzard that dumped over a foot of snow on the greater Mansfield area. Winds were recorded at 70 MPH and saw the Ohio National Guard call in 5,000 soldiers to assist all 88 counties.  The Ohio National Guard says that it was the most severe snow storm in state history, which had a storm damage of $210 million.
