A fire on Tuesday afternoon just south of Butler sent one woman to the hospital and left two homes destroyed. RichlandSource.com reports that the blaze broke out in the 18000 block of Mishey Road in Pike Township and took fire departments from three counties, Richland, Knox and Morrow, to control the flames. Due to the high winds, the home to the west saw its flames spread east and both homes are considered a total loss. The woman injured in the fire was first taken to Mansfield hospital and then on to Columbus due to her injuries. No one was home in the other house at the time of the blaze.
