Mansfield Police K9 Retiring After 5 Years with Department

Mansfield Police K9 Sam is officially retiring after 5 years with the department.  RichlandSource.com reports that city council honored the K9 at last week’s meeting, after coming to the department 4 years ago from Holland.  Sam started with the Mansfield PD back in May of 2014 and helped the Police department seize around $50,000 from drug dealers and stolen property. Sam is now 5 years old and will live with Sgt. Sara Mosier – Napier of the Mansfield Police department.
