Crime in Mansfield overall was down 7% in 2017. Police Chief Ken Coontz told WMAN News that includes arson, homicide, rape, assault, burglary, robbery, larceny, auto theft and manslaughter.Friday, the city will swear in a new police officer in Bradley Gallik, who will become the 78th officer for the Mansfield Police Department. The Mansfield PD also has 35 civilian employees in the Department.
