Ashland Hires Architect For Fire Station Project

Ashland is one step closer to adding another fire station on the city’s south side. RichlandSource.com reports that the city has hired an architect out of Columbus to help map out the project.

The 4.71 acres of land for the fire station was a donation from University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center and will be located on the corner of U.S. 42 and Mifflin Ave.  The land is valued at over $370,000 and will have an EMS squad to serve residents on the south side of Ashland.
